11 Key Highlights from Manchester United’s 3-2 Win over SHU in the Premier League: the good, the bad and the ugly.

MUN struggled with SHU’s press at the early minutes — which forced the error of the goal conceded.
MUN, as usual, had Matic drop deep into the defensive line. This stretched SHU’s first line of press that closed down Pogba & created spaces to progress the ball.

MUN had a clear plan to exploit SHU’s high line with our forwards tasked on making runs: Bruno, Rashford and Martial — and finding them with a through/long ball.
MUN were offside multiple times: need to improve the timing of the runs but nice to see us making more.

Matic dispossessed. SHU now have space to run into between our split CB’s. Maguire is too pushed forward.

Rashford’s bending run here was fantastic. As soon as Lindelof receives — he delays slightly then goes in front of the CB.

All starts with Pogba’s switch. A quick string of passes allow MUN to interchange — with AWB inverted, dragging a player.
This created space which Pogba was running into, recognizing the pass before he receives. Tony’s run/touch forces the keeper to rush out.

An excellent interception from Pogba was a catalyst to this dangerous transition.
