THE NEXT PANDEMIC!!

1/ No, it's not here right now, not that I know of, but I was wondering, what are the geniuses that failed us in this Pandemic doing to make sure the next pandemic will be handled way better? Are there people discussing what needs to be done?

2/ Have they recognized what went wrong? Have they determined what processes and resources would have prevented the problem? Are they creating plans for addressing this need at the appropriate time? Are they looking at all levels; from individual needs to international commerce?

3/ Are they thinking 'outside the box' for ways for some sectors to continue operating safely, protocols & priorities for bringing 'stuff' online; I'm sure there are tons of innovative ideas on how to safely manage societal interactions while minimizing disruption.

4/ Publically discussing ideas, their legal and moral issues of those ideas, and developing them out in the open would be far better than relying on the government to come up with them. If they ever do have the will, they will most certainly abuse them for their own purposes!

5/ Just a thought I wanted to throw out there. If anyone knows of some resources or groups that are addressing this kind of action, I'd be interested in looking at them!
