Build Based City (THREAD)

Christians, trad architects, craftsmen, gym bros, dissident philosophers, plowshare beardmen, classical artists -- could all do something greater than documenting the demise of civilization on Twitter if they gathered in one place and started building.
The Twitter communities that have sprung up in the last few years have demonstrated that there are a lot of like-minded people out there in this realm, but they are scattered, separated. The only thing that connects them all is the internet.
Ideas are powerful, but only insofar as they translate into a physical reality. We need to stop fruitlessly hoping for action or transformation from old institutions, and discover the potential of our own hands. We must build.
We talk a lot about power, and how the left is very good at gaining and capturing power, but we need to realize is that power is not a zero-sum game. Once every institution has been captured by the left, that's not the end of it. Power can be created in addition to being captured
A physical manifestation of the trad/conservative/nationalistic ideology is power. It's aesthetics. It's a shining light. More powerful than a thousand stained-glass-poasters making "how it started / how it's going" posts, though those are necessary too.
Are we just going to sit around and let our civilization die? How about we not do that? How about we build it anew?

All it takes is the will and strength to make it happen.

No wet blanket energy here.

Concentrate some truth, virtue, and beauty in one place.
I am young and have my whole life ahead of me. This year I've watched my country fall to pieces. My people starving for truth and beauty. The cities decaying into rot and ruin.

It doesn't have to be this way. But it's up to us -- it's our responsibility to preserve our heritage.
If we want good things to happen we have to do them ourselves. Things don't just happen. It takes strong men, leaders who are willing to face whatever heat, whatever mockery, whatever hostility to make it so. The question should not be "can it be done", but "when do we start?"
