When hawks say "don't rush" to do X, they really mean "we passionately hate X and will never accept it." They aren't seriously concerned that things are being done too quickly. They are alarmed that it could happen and want to block it
"Don't rush to leave Afghanistan" = never leave Afghanistan
"Don't rush to rejoin JCPOA" = reject the JCPOA
Complaints about "rushing" are absurd. In Afghanistan, it cannot be "rushing" when you have been there for 19+ years. On JCPOA, time is of the essence if the deal is to survive intact for much longer. We have waited long enough on one, and there is no time to lose on the other
It is also ridiculous for dedicated opponents of an agreement to offer advice on how best to reenter it. They are squarely opposed to reentry and have sought to destroy the agreement for years. It amounts to little more than trolling
It's as if someone sets a building on fire and then says, "There's no hurry. Let's not rush to put out the fire. Let's see what happens." Would you listen to the arsonist? Of course not. And we shouldn't listen to Iran hawks for the same reason
