@evandiaz2412 was an absolute monster at the @PBRNewYork Northeast Open !

Here’s a thread on his @Blast_Bsbl metrics.

First lets take a look at @evandiaz2412’s Bat Speed.

This is just silly stuff. Dude has unreal raw power.

Bat Speed is always looked at as a prerequisite to success at the next level...and Diaz has it.

But can that raw power/bat speed scale at the next level? 👇
Yes.

@evandiaz2412 averaged around the low 20s for Rotational Acceleration.

This shows us that he is equipped to accelerate into that BS quickly, EQUIPPING him to make later decisions on pitches and make more late adjustments than a 👨‍⚕️.

💥Power Efficiency 💥

👇👇
Now take a look at his BS/RA scatterplot on http://BlastConnect.com .

Every swing is in the green target zone!

Thats incredibly efficient...
especially in a high stress environment like the @PBRNewYork Northeast Open where you’re being heavily evaluated.

Dude is a stud.

👇
So to put these @Blast_Bsbl metrics in a more traditional scout terminology:

💥High BS = High Floor

💥High RA = High Ceiling

Combine these metrics with what you see on video, you have a guy whose equipped to do damage for a long time (provided plate discipline and approach).
Is there things that need to be cleaned up? Sure.

But these things are more connection/plane related and are incredibly easy to fix/monitor with a @Blast_Bsbl sensor.

They’re also common adjustments needed at the amateur level.

@evandiaz2412 is going to be a fun follow💥
