So there has been a lot of talk -- rightfully so -- about how poorly the CFP committee has slotted teams this season. Too much subjectivity, criteria all over the place. Many have said it would just be easier to go back to a BCS formula, where computers select the teams

This way there isn't bias, the "chosen few" don't get favored over teams that maybe have accomplished more on the field.

I thought it would be interesting to see just how the computers would rank things, if teams were lower/higher than CFP had them

I went to the Massey Composite, which combines 57 computer rankings to formulate a top 127. With so many used it means there isn't one dominant criteria. Some use MOV, some heavily reward road wins, some favor team strength. There are enough to provide a solid ranking
