He said how he carefully picked the song to fit the taste of a broad age range of the judge panel. And wanted to appeal to the listeners emotions.

Jungkook went on the show as the ‘fencing man’.
His first performance on the show was a duet with Lady Jane. The song title is “I’m in love”.
His performance impressed the judges as well as the audience.

His performance was strong. He showed he has great control of his voice and masters falsetto perfectly and knows how to convey emotions through his voice. And his harmonization with Lady Jane was perfect.

Jungkook’s performance in the 2nd round of the show was ‘If You’ (original by Big Bang). Just like in the first round, the audience and the judges were impressed and touched by his performance.

Sadly, Jungkook didn't pass to the 3rd round. But the reaction from the judges and the viewers was incredibly positive.

The judges commented how his alto was perfectly done, and fresh. How his voice was overall very delicate. And were impressed at how he conveyed emotions through his voice. He sang so well, they were surprised he was an idol.

One Judge was particularly taken by him while he was singing, swooning over him, and his performance wanting to listen to it again.
