Thread: I joined the @educationgovuk webinar today to hear about the Goverment plans to mass test 5.5million 11-18yr olds in the first week in January.
The webinar failed to answer important questions and finished with the promise of new information next week.
Instead of looking forward to the Christmas break parents and teachers have ended the term in the dark -uncertain about mass testing, remote learning and face to face teaching in January.
The DfE have failed to deliver practical, timely and costed plans to deliver mass testing in schools and serious questions need be asked about the systematic and repeated failures at the DFE.
The joint letter above gives helpful advice to School Leaders, Governors and Trustees trying to make decisions for January.
