We watched JFK last night and it confirmed a gnawing idea I’ve had. That movie and the renewed Boomer obsession with Kennedy’s death in that era are absolutely the stepping stones to Q and all this hysterical election fraud conspiracy theory madness. It’s all there
That whole frenzy around that topic created the brainworms that make people tie every trivial coincidence to something meaningful or more accurately something sinister.
"On March 23, Lee walks into a store to get a soda. You know what was four blocks away from that store? An FBI office!"
"Oh my God, that's the smoking gun. They can't explain that away!"
This appeals to people who (how shall I put this politely?)...don't get out much.

This is especially true of the current election conspiracy nuts. They look at mundane tasks or reports and read SO MUCH INTO IT because the one thing they fail to grasp is this is normal boring bureaucracy, they've just never seen it up close until now. They simply can't process
Also, it's been 30 years since that film came out and what I feel now watching this frenzied hoop jumping loose connection building nonsense vs me at 17 believing EVERY SINGLE WORD like this was a religious scripture is a major LOL life moment
But that's bc I've had 30 years to learn to be skeptical of anyone's theories or interpretation of facts and data. And bc for the past 30 years there has been so much media devoted to disproving so many key aspects of Garisson's "proof"
What strikes me most now is realizing how this is all tied to an element of being a "true Patriot." A "real American" loves his country so much that he doesn't trust it and thinks the VP ordered the assassination of the President. That is how you get to Q and Trumpism, baby
I think Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK bc he was an angry and frustrated man who failed at almost everything he put his hands on. I think he was involved with a lot of shady people who acted like they were part of something big when they were just glorified middle men
I think absolutely Lee tried to get in with the CIA and hung out with CIA assets or agents and talked about killing the president and ppl who hated JFK were like "sure, Lee" and weren't too bothered by the idea but didn't actually put him up to him or and make him the "patsy."
I believe the CIA sent Lee to Russia as a "defector" but the Russians quickly realized he was barely a grunt and not much of an asset, so they sent him to work in a factory and he hated it and came back and that's why he got his wife in and wasn't debriefed.
After he shot JFK, the CIA scrambled to cover their asses bc they didn't want people to find out they had worked, even at the lowest possible level, with the nut who blew JFK's head off while his wife, one of the most beloved women on Earth, sat next to him
And LOL that's probably why George Bush Sr never "recalled" where he was that day, bc he was probably part of cleaning up all that mess.
"Why was a man seen running away from the grassy knoll?" Because someone was shooting a gun off in that direction? Hello?
Most of this stuff comes from people questioning basic human behavior and finding it "suspect" because they measure it against their own perceived ideas of how they would act. "I would have done XYZ! Doing ABC is therefor not normal and proof they were in on it!"
