I’ll say this, I both get why some people have gripes with #TheMandalorian while also totally loving what they’re doing. Both can be true. But I’ll say that there wasn’t really any other way this story could have gone last night, timeline wise. It makes sense to me.

But, I also understand people’s frustration and want to move. This show has been both from jump: a nostalgic trip for old school fans while laying down a lot to move toward, and I tend to find it does both, and it does both well. Favreau & Filoni handle nostalgia overall better.
