Please realize how remarkable it is that NO cases are reported. In past years even during the summer there were at least some cases globally.
Also note that the influenza season usually begins around november with a full onset in december.

Now I will give you a list of (im)possible explanations for this riddle, independent from the likelihood of these explanations to be true. Some are highly speculative to put it mildly.

A) No cases.
One could argue that the draconian measures against Covid might have prevented infection with the flu entirely, while simultaneously having no effect on the spread of the Corona virus at all.
Mind: not all countries have lockdowns and mask mandates, but zero flu.

Interesting to know when considering the effectiveness of masks:

What initiates the onset of an influenza wave?
The same factors that lead to the increased spread of the common cold, which we still see ongoing in the world?
Why then the cold, but not the flu?

For the sake of completeness I will also name the possibility that the influenza waves are NOT linked to natural/environmental factors, but are started each year artificially.
B) No reports.
There might be no cases, hence no reports.
If the testing for influenza would have stopped, there would be no possiblity to report flu cases.

C) Covid tests give a positive result in cases of influenza infections.
Despite manufacturer's data, the Covid test might give positive test results for persons infected with influenza.

D) Follow the money.
Now it gets wildly speculative, but where's the fun, right?
Based on the assumption that influenza waves might be artificially initiated (or at least not mitigated), there could be a financial interest or benefit for SOME in it.

Following that line of thought, the circumstances in 2020 must be different from all previous years, because we see no influenza now.
What's different? Covid (to name the most impactful).

Whoever might profit in whatever way, shape, or form from Covid is likely the same who might have profited from influenza before.
Also: influenza might still exist naturally, but the focus on Covid might be more lucrative.
