Toxic (Kpop) fandoms' stuff that must come to an end, a thread:

Claiming or making threads about an Idol heterosexuality when the Idol hasn't said anything about it. Maybe x is just interacting cutely or flirty without sexual implications. Behaviours and words don't define sexuality. Same for every other sexual orientation
If the idol has said nothing, it's disrespectful assuming anything. Idols as Bts have demonstrated their support to LGBT+ community, this is called being good humans and icons, but doesn't say a thing about sexuality.
Dating is not a scandal. Idols lost their jobs bc fandom hatred towards their relationships. Dating is human and none of our business. It's called privacy. Don't support tabloids and their paparazzi.
Shipping seriously is problematic. Maybe you make them feel uncomfortable, Bts has said they don't like ships between members. Ship-videos analysing moves or starings are ridiculous and creepy. Enjoy their relationships without assuming anything.
Joking about this stuff, sarcasm and funny threads or comments are amazing. But it's clear when s/o thinks seriously about sexuality, dates and ships, don't cover it with "I'm jOkiNg"
Cultural appropriation is a mistake when you're disrespecting another culture and a certain cultural group feels disrespected. But we live in a globalised world, cultures change and mix, so don't see it everywhere.
Cancelling culture is so toxic. People make mistakes, it's normal. It's possible to make people notice an error and educate them with respect. Shitstorms and insults are horrible. If someone is clearly an a*shole unfollow and report.
Beauty standards expecially for women are too strict. Insulting or pointing out too much something about physical appearance is rude. Others' bodies are not your business
Sasaeng behaviours are toxic, dangerous and need psychological help. Don't share their contents or search for them. If you love an idol you don't support or be obsessive stalkers that hurt them mentally and physically
Sexualizing is disgusting and disturbing. Appreciations and jokes are welcome, but to imagine a whole p*rn, writing excessive ff and heavy comments is problematic.
Solo stans are toxic and the members themselves call them out. You're not a fan of a group if you don't love all of them and even the single idol desire the good for the group. You can have a bias, it's normal but this has nothing to do with solo
