1) Every new affiliate marketer struggles with making sales.

Often, it is blamed on "not enough traffic".

The truth is though, if you can't generate sales with low traffic, then you won't be making big bank either when you get more traffic.

2) If your Twitter account has a couple hundred followers, you should already be making sales

Heck, I've met guys with less than 150 followers earning $1'000 in commissions

COMMISSIONS means: Money into their pocket!

4) Sharing results is THE best way to make sales with affiliate marketing on Twitter.

Share your progress, share results, and share OFTEN.

That's where the whole idea of a "passion project" comes from.

5) Why not do something that you already want to do anyways?

Want to lose weight? Take any weight loss program out there, share your progress, share your results here on Twitter.

Want to learn web development? Take any online course out there, share your progress & results.

6) Just make sure your course has an affiliate program... Else you can't affiliate for it.

But even then, chances are you will need OTHER tools to achieve your goal.

Things that you ordered off of Amazon for example. You can use your affiliate links here, too.

7) The point is this:

Sharing your personal results works extremely well for affiliate marketing.

Your followers will be watching you work towards your goal.

And every time you show progress, some of them will want to do what you do.

Then they can buy through your link

8) Another technique is to do product reviews.

I have not yet tested out product reviews on Twitter but they worked very well on my blog and on YouTube.

The idea behind product reviews is giving people an insider look.

9) The first time I crossed the $1'000 monthly income mark with blogging was when I was writing dozens of product reviews.

All I did was review best-selling products on Amazon.

And it worked great

Still today, product reviews are a proven way to make sales with Aff M.

10) For Twitter, I would split up my product reviews over multiple threads.

Have each thread highlight a part of the product or course.

Share your personal experience, give a "behind the scenes" look.

For example, I have a video review on CoG (link later in this thread)

11) Another great way is to compare two products or courses.

It's similar to writing a review but here you're pitching two products against each other.

You DON'T have to declare one as a winner!

All you have to do is help people find out which is best for them.

12) By comparing two products with each other, you allow people to figure out what's best for them.

Which group of people benefits the most from which course or product?

Who should go for choice A or choice B?

Always be genuine and honest.

13) Another tried & tested way to generate affiliate sales is making "best-of" lists.

This comes once again from the blogging & YouTube sphere.

But there's no reason why you couldn't do regular Best-Of Lists inside Twitter threads.

14) Especially if you build your account's theme around that.

So that your followers come to expect regular Best-Of Lists to come out from you.

When you create the list, you don't have to order the products from best to worst either

15) You can just list your favorite top 5, 7, or 10 products / courses in any order you want.

It doesn't have to be a ranking. (It can of course, if you want to.)

For each product, put your affiliate link

16) The ultimate technique to making more sales with affiliate marketing is:

BONUSES

But it becomes even more powerful if you combine it with one of the techniques explained above!

This combo will earn you thousands of dollars.

You just have to IMPLEMENT it!!

17) Even as an affiliate marketer, you want to have your very own products.

Not necessarily to sell them, but so you can give them away as bonuses & packages.

It's usually called bonuses...

But I prefer to look at it as "packages"

18) In a package, everything fits together nicely.

And that's exactly the goal you should have for your bonuses.

Your bonuses should somehow expand the product that you're promoting as an affiliate.
