the navajo plates, the designs, the tipi in the corner of the room.. though this is a set, it applies. iu having a mock tipi while performing the song didn't make it any better. i thought life goes on was about growing up?

the tipis are horribly obvious. this doesn't need much explanation. while this is a campfire-like setting, to me, its making them seem like just nothing but tents and i don't like that at all.

when this first came out, people were silencing natives and i'll never forget that day. while the one on the left is a tipi, the one on the right is definitely a mock tipi of some sort. not sure who made this set but bighit could've went somewhere else.

i was so hyped up when dynamite was about to come out but then i slowly deflated as i realized that bighit, once again, put a tipi behind bts without care. this whole set is iffy

6. native headdresses
i can't even stand looking at these pictures. headdresses in native culture are symbol of strength and bravery, and only male chiefs are supposed to be wearing them unless there's a special occasion like a ceremony of some sort. there is no excuse for this

there are multiple photos of bts behind the "tent" with odd shape lights in a triangular shape with poles on the top. disrespectful and its the most fake looking tipi i've ever seen. what the hell were they even thinking?

i don't think this needs much explanation but a dreamcatcher is more than just something you hang up, it has its own significance and teachings. the dreamcatcher has a lot of history.

its okay to use a dreamcatcher if you know the history and stories of them. the thing is, you're supposed to buy them from a native. fake dreamcatchers don't work and there's a lot that goes into making a real dreamcatcher. this is blatantly for aesthetics

bighit basically took native designs and slapped them onto bts clothing. they stole it. they stole native designs for money. let it sink it for a second.

13. stereotyping native names
some natives disagree, there is still some debate about whether or not this really was how it seemed but i do believe they were making fun native names. yoongi mentioning "indians" namjoon doing that little war cry yelling thingy at the end.. yeah

i'm (sadly) sure there's more i've missed but this is all off the top of my head. there's never been an apology for any of this and i'm pretty sure i can speak for a huge chunk of native army's; i am TIRED. bighit is using not only bts but also txt and enhypen to profit off +
native culture and at this point it feels like its on purpose. bts can take blame for what they've done but besides their own mistakes, bighit has set them up multiple times by making them wear stolen designs, photoshoots with tipis/dreamcatchers, etc.
if you're going to speak over me or another natives and you're a non-native, please dont bother because i'll just block you. if you're native and want to discuss anything i've put or want to add more, please let me know. perhaps a template can be made for something.
