What Emiliano Buendia would bring to Arsenal

A thread:
In the premier league last season, Arsenal created the 16th most chances. Aubameyang was still able to score 22 goals, massively over performing his xG, but this seems to have caught up with him this season having only scored twice from open place.
After failing to Sign Aouar in the summer and not registering Özil in the 25 man squad, the lack of creativity has been clear for all to see. With Szoboszlai on his way to Leipzig and Aouar seeming unlikely in January, Arsenal could opt for Buendia.
Buendia predominantly operates as a right midfielder but can play as a 10 as well. This season, he has 5 goals and 6 assists in 15 games. These stats could be slightly inflated as he is playing in the championship.
While playing in the premier league last season, Buendia recorded 1 goal and 7 assists but you have to take into account the quality of the team around him. They finished 20th in the league but Buendia still managed to created the 3rd most chances in the league (83).
This is a figure that was only topped by Kevin De Bruyne (136), Jack Grealish (90) and Trent Alexander Arnold (87).
STRENGTHS
Creative Passing:
Buendia created 3.1 chances per90 last season, more than the entire Arsenal midfield put together (bar Özil). He would definitely improve us seeing as we have only created 14 big chances in the league so far this season.
Dribbling:
Buendia completed 3.87 takeons per 90 last season. The only player who comes close to that in the current Arsenal squad is Nicolas Pepe (3.27). His dribbling style is reminiscent to that of Santo Cazorla and he would add more directness which the current squad lacks.
WEAKNESSES:
Shooting:
Buendia only managed 1 goal in the league last season from 27 shots. This could potentially be an issue due to the lack of goals from midfield since Aaron Ramsey left. However he has already scored 5 league goals this season
He also gives away a few silly fouls and picks up quite a few bookings which could be an issue, (but I guess he would fit right in with the current Arsenal squad.)
In conclusion, Buendia would bring a much needed creative spark to the current squad, but him alone would not solve all our creative issues. Others have to step up and more investment is needed.
