So @Trustee_Ramsay just said emails sent to public officials can be shared w/ the public, incl. the media. Is this really the stance of @wrdsb board, @weston_jd, @ScottPiatkowski? Should residents who give criticism fear sending emails as they could be bullied via the media?
This will stop engagement from residents already facing marginalization. 2SLGBTQ+, racialized, low socio economic students and their families are now going to have to choose between voicing concerns and the fear of retaliation via the media by @wrdsb board members.
Or what about concerned educators? Will they face retaliation via the media by @wrdsb board members? Should everything now be funnelled via unions, @jpkitchener? Should union reps take all of these concerns forward to protect our educators?
