Many of you will have seem my FOI asking @ofqual about @GavinWilliamson claim that lots of schools were entering CAGS of As & Bs

I revealed that only 14 centres had 10 or more entries at A*,A or B

Well I’ve gone back and asked about the type of school

I’m only interested in those with 10 or more entries, because I don’t really think anyone can read anything into a centre with only 3 or 7 pupils

@ofqual were extremely helpful and responded quickly

6 of the 14 were independent
7 “other”
And there was one solitary academy

It’s yet another example of education ministers making exaggerated and inflammatory claims in order to justify their poor decisions

It’s clear that there was no large scale promotion, certainly not in the state sector

Once again Gavin Williamson comes up short when fact checked
