“They rushed the vaccines.”

Actually no we didn’t. To explain: it’s technology and a lot of funding. Things we don’t normally have all at once.

Compared to other vaccines, the production process for mRNA vaccines are advantaged with respect to modularity and standardization.
Clinical quality mRNA templates can be manufactured in a timely manner compared to other methods such as egg-based vaccine culturing/manufacturing used to make both inactivated (killed) vaccines and live attenuated (weakened) vaccines which essentially takes time (~3 weeks).
When I say this, I mean it in the most respectful way possible. I don’t seek to disregard anyone’s concerns ever. It’s more so that I would rather everyone understand this efficient process and why we were able to develop these in the time that we did.
