Aug’20 we had somewhat of an #altcoin pump a period of 4 weeks give or take, all of that month it was there - millionaires were made everything was pumping!

My @blockfolio was green looking at my picks, gains were up 50-60% across my whole portfolio. And then? We hit the first week of Sept - straight up BLOOD.
But I was comfy
It did SUCK though not gonna lie.

Now, multiply that experience x100 to get an idea what this alt cycle may be like in 2021, it may last longer than the 4 week example in Aug or even the run upto Nov in 2017 but who knows? The point is be prepared.

Often mistakes are made when decisions and discipline is overriden by emotion and a change of plan. Then the guilt sets in.

Now consider this, if you’re holding 20-30 alt coins and real shit coins at that 
how likely are you to take profits across all of those when that PUMP happens as opposed to 5-8 coins with strong fundamentals or blue chips?

It’s easier to take 50% gains across 5 coins than 50 at 5%. It’s also simple to track projects, and stay upto date with their developments especially if you want to exit or hold.
MY FOCUS:
1. Preserve Capital - We are going into a depression, that’s expected. I want to see myself good for at least 10 years from this. If i’m lucky set up for life.
2. Set my sell targets whether its a percentage on the way up or hitting certain price points and market cap.

3. Position myself in strong alts - that’s where the multiples will come and I can sleep well at night.
4. Make sure my log ins and CEX are uptown date - How many times has @coinbase gone down when #BTC
has pumped? Nothing worse than not having a back up exchange to gain access.
