I have to presume that you agree with the 'science' that internal sex-role stereotypes ('gender identity') is fixed and expressed at 18 months, that some children are born wrong. If you don't then why do you cite it?
HSTS is a result of homophobia. Cultural, familial. It is separate to AGP, and to the teen girls. Yes, some of the teen girls identifying as trans are lesbians. This is a multi-headed problem.
