Does anyone have an explanation for why we’re doing almost all of the things which, last year, were explicitly NOT recommended under any circs in relation to influenza?
We’re no long even in an epidemic, if you look at distribution of deaths.

Note that school closures can be appropriate in ‘flu epidemics because young people can spread ‘flu & even die from it. Neither apply for SARS-COV-2.

...sense, it appears never to have crossed the engaged minds of contributors to the WHO guidelines to suggest not meeting family members. Why was that? Why are ANY of the restrictions in place?
