1/ THREAD: PERSPECTIVE ON COVID TRANSMISSION

When I got COVID, I knew it was not the standard flu. I know how flu typically affects my body and this behaved and spread very differently, so I do not question the COVID-positive result in my case.
2/ Now, I did not know I had COVID until the end of Thanksgiving weekend. However, I had travelled to LA that weekend and spent everyday from Thursday to Sunday w/ a lot of different people, mostly indoors w/ no masks or distancing. I'm the TEXTBOOK case of what not to do.
3/ I was an unknowing carrier thru the entire weekend.
I even spent my Saturday night (one day before my symptoms appeared) with a party of 11 people in a small room for 3-4 hours conversing over dinner and dessert.
Once I learned I had COVID, I immediately notified everyone.
4/ I felt TERRIBLE for exposing 25+ people overall through the weekend. However, nearly three weeks have elapsed and only one person has since tested positive and he's a fellow pastor with exposure to a lot of other people. No one else has tested positive nor felt any symptoms.
5/ I have been mostly silent on the issues of masks but now I'm seeing a massive outbreak in our little community and I know it's not because of a lack of masks or distancing. People have been doing that. Businesses have been shut down. There's been no "spreader events."
6/ I honestly don't think we know nor understand how this spreads, but I'm also confident that there are cheap and affordable cures that are being prevented: Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin along with elemental zinc and vitamin C/D.
7/ I'm not going to engage a mask debate, but from my own experience (which I realize is not normative), masks & distancing seem like trivial factors.

However, none of this should even be an issue if people were allowed to get the treatment that has been prevented.

My 2 cents.
