Manchester United’s Top 4 Priority Signings (in my opinion) a thread;

Likes, Retweets & Comments are much appreciated, thank you.
4. Denis Zakria

Denis is a 24-year-old, defensive midfielder who plays for Monchengladbach in Germany. Zakaria is a mobile, tall, and strong midfielder. His main strengths being; dribbling, tackling, and overall concentration and defensive awareness.
Denis’ contract at Monchengladbach expires in 2022 and could be available for a measly 35 million pounds. He’s a much more dynamic and skillful operator than a rudimentary enforcer – hence the similarities with some of the game’s great midfielders ie (Zidane, Kroos & Viera)
He averaged 2.1 tackles and 1.6 interceptions per game last term, alongside 2.0 successful dribbles and 38 passes with an 86.7% success rate – solid numbers all-round, demonstrating his versatile skillset. He also scored two goals and registered a further two assists in 2019-20.
Personally, I believe Denis would be a good and cheap option to bring in and do a job for Manchester United in that holding role and a perfect replacement for Matic.
3. David Alaba.

David Alaba has one more year left on his contract at Bayern Munich. If United looks to offer a fee up in January they could snag him for around 20/30 million rather than him leaving on a free to Real Madrid or Juventus.
Alaba is a versatile player with a very good range of passing and a high intelligence when it comes to defensive awareness and concentration. He's won countless top tier trophies and would bring an elite mentality to the dressing room.
The great thing about Alaba is he can play Left Back, Centre Back and even Defensive Midfield which would kill off two of our problems in the short term to build a strategy for next summer.
2. Declan Rice

Rice has been outstanding for West Ham both last year and this year so far too. Despite the inflated price tag and 'English PTayer tax' is hard to not admit that Declan is a real talent and is one of the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League.
Rice has shown a talent for breaking up attacks, often during moments of transition. He can jockey in both directions, slowing counters while teammates recover their positions and, therefore, proving valuable to a possession-based team at risk of being exposed during a transition
Rice ranks top of the ladder for tackles won (70), not just in the English top-flight, but in Europe’s top 5 leagues. Unsurprisingly, he is very active in his team’s press too, only James McArthur (199) of Crystal Palace has more successful pressures than Rice (197).
Rice would be perfect on the left side of a double pivot in a 4-2-3-1 with a very good range of diagonal passing and composed 'line breaking' passes however Rice has now adopted a single holding role at West Ham which would be perfect for Manchester United.
1. Dayot Upemecano

Despite Dayot’s poor start to this season I still think he is the perfect long-term centre back for Manchester United, and here’s why…
Upamecano is one of the most well-rounded young centre-backs in the world. He provides varied passing, as well as having the ability to progress the play on his own. On top of this, he has amazing pace, athleticism, and defensive awareness and would be a great fit for any club.
If played alongside Maguire, he could be the proactive CB while Maguire drops deeper to deal with the aerial balls. His blend of speed, strength, and anticipation would be a good mix for United to be able to consistently play a high line and put the opposing teams under pressure.
Just to give you an insight as to just how good Dayot is, here is his last season's stats compared to both of our centre backs calendar year performance.
Thank you, if you've got this far, for reading, let me know who you want to see Manchester United sign in the upcoming transfer windows...
