I noticed on the #TwosetViolinRewatchParty discord that a few people were confused about the filming location of the early videos so I thought I would make a thread of favourite filming places.
If they’re sitting with their backs to a blank wall and it’s after late 2019, they are probably in their apartment in Singapore. From the scavenger hunt video, the spinny chairs have now been banished to the dining room table, probably for being too distracting.
The studio room with the acoustic panels, black leather sofas and grand piano is where Eddy lives in Brisbane. This is the most common filming location since 2017 or so. (tsvtwt think Eddy sits on a dining room chair and Brett sits on the piano stool so he can be taller)
The room with the upright piano also contains the Brett Shrine - all Brett (and his brother’s, probably) trophies and diplomas from growing up. I think I see the photo of him meeting Obama.
This green sofa shows up a couple of times around the dates when they had shows in Tapei so it’s probably the home of some of their extended families (I’d guess Brett as he lived in Tapei as a small child. Eddy was born in Kaohsiung which is at the other side of Taiwan).
While collecting these screenshots, I found Eddy’s familiar furniture but the room is different
I think there were only one or two videos shot here. This is from the goofy KPOP Violin video in 2016 so he’s moved house since then.

This is Brett’s apartment in Sydney. He lived there in 2015 and 2016 when he had a fellowship with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
In those days they didn’t feel the need to blur out their windows even when an iconic landmark is visible.
(Please don't stalk their current locations
)
I think Brett was pretty proud of this view.

Some other locations that occur a few times:
Viola Gang and Birth of a Viola were filmed at their uni.

More Southbank (Google Maps says this is the Cultural Forecourt). The building behind Eddy is the Queensland Performing Arts Centre. Eddy would have performed there when he was playing in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
The piece of public art in this shot from the Crazy in Love cover is called "Kernel (Falling from Above) " https://brecknockconsulting.com.au/275-george-st
Parts of "A classical musician's guide to getting girls" and "If my life had a classical soundtrack" were filmed in the Circular Quay area of Sydney.
Eddy flees past the Ship Inn (built in 1902) and hides in the toilets of Circular Quay train station.
