i think there is a Big Difference between getting someone’s pronouns right and Genuinely Viewing someone as trans/non binary
i feel like a lot of the time people put more work into getting peoples pronouns right than they do actually viewing trans people as trans which requires a LOT more critical thought and view changes
like to GENUINELY view me, someone who presents extremely femme, as someone who does not identify as Any Gender At All, Not Even A Little Bit requires a lot more interrogation of your own perceptions than just Remembering To Say They Instead of She
Just Because I Don’t Have a Mullet or An Eyebrow Slit Doesn’t Mean I’m Not Non Binary
