really want to talk about how child marriage and just pedophilic relationships are largely normalized in my country (brazil)

a lot of the girls i played with as a kid are now married with children. my neighbor had her first child when she was 15. the guy who used to take me n my friends to school was 23 and kissed a 14 year old once. my friends thought it was alright for them (we were 13-14 at the (+)

time) to date 19-20 years old. my classmate got married (unofficially) at 15 years old. there was this controversy about a 19 years old man dating a 12 years old girl and lots of people were defending them.

and honestly if i did some research i could put together a really nice thread. maybe when when school’s out.

loads of ppl find it wrong btw but a LOT of ppl also find it okay
