Let's make this clear. Yes, $600 is bullshit. Yes, it's a slap in the face. But guess what, THIS is what happens when we don't control the Senate, House, WH. This is what happens when the GOP is in power. People need SOMETHING now. It's not just the $600 in play.

It's all of these relief programs that are attached, like unemployment, food programs, rent relief, loan forbearance, business help, and others. All of these programs are attached & if there's no deal, many of these will end & people will suffer more than right now.

It's also things like testing, the vaccines, helps for schools attached to this. Things that would help us get back to normal. Right now, it's about avoiding a catastrophe in the short term to get us to Joe Biden being in the WH. That's what they are trying do. It sucks. I know.

Hopefully Joe Biden can negotiate a better & bigger relief package. Here's what we can do, if you're in Georgia, get your asses to the polls & make sure your friends & families vote too. Win those two Senate seats. That's the only real way for Joe Biden to not have to cut deals.

And please, the turnout we did in November, we can't ever let up on that. Every election from the local level on up, we need people to run for office who can win & we need to show up to vote. You can't blame Dems for not doing more if you don't show up & keep them in power.

The path to where we are now didn't just start recently. It started a decade ago when we failed to show up to vote in those midterms & gave the GOP control of House in 2010. If we don't want to end up back here again, that's what we need to do: Vote & win.
