I went through every Carson Wentz interception this season. Here's my analysis:
1. Carson is a tad late on this throw, something that with a preseason with a rookie receiver is common. Carson can't make this play in a two-minute drill up 17-0 (the worst lead in football). This play gives the Washington Football Team some momentum.
2. Similar to the first one, but Wentz isn't late. It's a good throw, just a better play by the cornerback. Hightower's route isn't great, he's just standing there not even playing defense on the ball.
This is what happens when you're relying on a rookie fifth-rounder in Week 1.

3. Plain and simple, terrible throw, terrible decision. This is not a play a fifth-year starting quarterback should be making on first down in the red zone basically with a clean pocket.
If the Eagles score 7 here the entire game is different.

4. Carson being Carson. Tries to do too much in a two-possession game with 3 minutes left. The second interception in this game when Wentz is throwing across his body, this one doesn't hurt as much since the game is already a loss.
5. Tipped pass. Something that Wentz has dealt with since being in the league because he doesn't use his eyes all the time. It's unfortunate though because it's a good decision. DeSean Jackson is open for the first down.

6. Bad throw. Clean pocket and Carson places the ball on the wrong shoulder.
7. This one is unfortunate. Carson tries to do a little too much and his arm gets hit when he's making the throw. When things are going well this is at least a 12-yard gain to Greg Ward.
8. Carson makes a good read. Ertz gets bumped, stops running the route just as Carson throws the ball. This should be a first down for the offense...
9. 4th and 20, Carson takes a shot when throwing this ball. This interception shouldn't even count lmao. Honestly a bad play for the defensive back to catch this, not that I blame him though.
10. This is brutal. Wentz avoids the sack, is in a perfect spot to throw the ball away and he doesn't. This drive should've at least resulted in a field goal.
11. Carson trying to do too much. This is not on Reagor at all. Double coverage, no need to force it. Could've picked up the first down with his feet.
12. If you can remember there were 15MPH winds this game. This is definitely something that Carson should've accounted for, I do like the shot to target a receiver 1v1 for a shot at a touchdown or penalty. Diggs tracked the ball better than Hightower.
13. Now I know the QB couch watchers see Reagor is open, but Wentz missed him for a second. Sendejo is baiting him. Carson sees him and then takes the checkdown.
A joke of a block by Richard Rodgers. If Carson completes that to Miles for a couple yards no one says anything.

14. The classic why is Alshon Jeffery on this team still tweet.
Alshon can't even jump off his injured foot. 2017-2018 Alshon makes this play.

15. The Eagles ran this play earlier for a big gain with Goedert running an out. I'm guessing Goedert has the option to sit or go to the sideline. Looks like he should've since he would've been open. Carson and Doug said this after the game.
Simple miscommunication here.

That's all 15. A few are terrible decisions that baffle me and piss me off.
A few are what make Carson Wentz... Carson Wentz an MVP caliber QB. With things going well a lot of these plays are made.
A few are just a result of a bad team relying on fifth rounders. Unfortunate.
