Here's the deal with the extra doses of Covid vaccine:
- standard to have a bit extra for multi-use vials
- we normally don't pay much attention and toss it
- in this case, it's such a precious commodity pharmacists thought - why not use?...

- should not be pooling extra volume across vials, as this practice could lead to contamination
- counting doses received and given can get snarly if we use the extras...
