A thread on why arsenal should sign Yusaf Yazici:

Yusaf Yazici is a 23 year old from turkey. He plays as a CAM but can also play as a CM, SS and a ST or CF. He tranfered to lille from trabzonspoor in 2019 for a fee of 15.75m. Where he wears the number 12 jersey and is making his way into the starting 11.

Over the last ten years arsenal have given lille a total of 105m within transfers. These are when the tranactions happened between both clubs; In 2011, Arsenal bought Gervinho from lille for a total of 10.5m.

In 2019 Arsenal bought Nicolas Pepe for a total of 72m, the third one is in 2020 Arsenal bought gabriel magalhaes for 23m. So clearly arsenal have been generous in there transfers, which could help through the finnaces of yazici.

this very affordable for arsenal, but lille could and probaly will ask for more. Comparing this to arsenal main target aouar this is considerably cheaper, as he is 45m. So this would be a good option for arteta

Yazici has played a total of 403 minutes for lille this seasson and only started in 3 and subbed in in 11, averging coming on in the 74 minute. He has a total of 5 goals and 2 assists. Averaging a goal every 80 mins.

As you know arsenal struggle with creating chances, this is something yazici exels in averging 2.98 KP90 comparing to Arsenal's best player in that catorgery is nketiah with 2.01KP90. Comparing with de brunyne's 3.42 KP90. He aint far off.

xG and xA can help a lot when deicding if a player is the right man: Yazici Xg is 2.8 from the 20/21 season. Arsenal's most xG comes from Lacazette is 3.36, which ik its higher but rember he plays a a CF/ST. yazici is pulling these number from CM/CAM.

Yazici has a xA of 2.10 comparing this to Willain's xA of 1.94 seems to that good. But playing 417 les mins then willian that is pretty good. For my prem comparision im going to tak minutes played into account. the nearest player to him is Ziyech with Xa of 2.70 in 389 mins.

Shots is also something arsenal really lack so Yazici would really help witht his having 4.91 Sh90. Compared to a small 2.77 from Pepe. In the prem the top is kane with 3.93 Sh90. Taking the quality of the prem into consideration. That is still considerably higher.

As ypu can tell yazici is a class player, and would help arsenal considerably. Ive watched lille all this season and a but of last and can already tell its exaclty what arsenal need, someone to connect the attack and the midfield.
