is actually a terrible game" phase which is way wrong? The game has issues. I've noted many of them the past few days. BUT mah god the writing, characters, music, open world & combat is fucking awesome!

Side jobs in this game are just that great. Example, random side job of Nomads dealing with Scavs & having your choices brought up. Told Scavs not to start shit because it would end with their deaths like it did for their friends in Watson. They legit sounded intimidated.
Combat in this game is also phenomenal. Love the feel of guns whether that be using a handgun, shotgun, AR, sniper or precision rifle. All feel great.
BUT also Katana's are a blast to use. Slicing a room of enemies up like a pizza I'd beyond satisfying.

So much fun toying around with my cyberdeck, utilizing various quickhacks to just decimate enemies.
Beyond thrilling sneaking into a 6th Street outpost, slowly Overheating each enemies system & then rebooting the leaders optics for a nice stealth combat sequence.

Then there are the rich characters. Judy Alvarez. Goro Takemura. Evelyn Parker. Panam Palmer. Jackie Welles. And more.
Each character feels so real? Like their backstories & motivations feel relatable. As V I just got super immersed into doing quests with them.

Gigs are more combat focused but still offer some intriguing narrative, choice & even surprise. Nothing is like Night City. Nothing. Cyberware is really fun playing around with. I found using Gorilla Arms & beating gangs of enemies to death extremely satisfying.

Cyberpunk 2077 has issues from design to stability but its unfortunate how the good is being trampled upon.
This game does things that very few other devs can do which is immerse me into a world. Make me miss & want to see more from certain characters. I'm excited for Story DLC!
