Jim Harbaugh is probably getting retained, so here’s a thread of staff changes I’d make if I was in his position:

1.) Fire Don Brown, simple as that. Find a defensive guy he really clicks with. Is it Marcus Feeeman? Derek Mason? I don’t know I’m just some guy on twitter.

2.) Fire Shaun Nua
The defensive line development has been a dumpster fire since he’s gotten here and the recruiting isn’t any better. Hire someone who actually recruits DTs.

3.) Get a safeties coach that is actually with the team.
I don’t know the extent of the Bob Shoop situation but if he can’t be with the team no reason to keep him around.

4.) Fire Ben Mcdaniels
Does he recruit? No
Does he develop? Clearly not
Quite honestly, I don’t know what he does. His replacement could fulfill my next point also...

5.) Hire a “passing game coordinator” to work along side Gattis on the offense and give Gattis more time with the WRs. Maybe a Mike Leach disciple, maybe an NFL guy, maybe someone else, but someone who can revolutionize the passing attack.
