Tony Pollard

Games over a 25% snap count in Dak Prescott starts: 1/5

Games over a 25% snap count w/o Dak Prescott: 7/8

In games started by Prescott, Dallas ran 384 plays (24 Dalton) and Zeke was on pace for 19 TDs, 1700+ yards, and 77 catches on 102 targets. Pollard was on...
...pace for 64 total touches, 320 yards and 3 TDs.

In games not started by Prescott, Dallas has ran 551 plays and Zeke has a pace of 1160 yards, 42 catches, and 2 TDs. Pollard has a pace of 166 touches, 684 yards, and 2 TDs.

Pollard is actually on pace for the same amount of...
...receptions (22).

Zeke w/ Dak
22.6 tch, 107.4 yards, 1.2 TDs, 4.7 y/t, 7.2 y/rec
Pollard w/ Dak
4 tch, 20 yards, 0.2 TDs, 5 y/t, 5.4 y/rec

Zeke w/o
17.9 tch, 72.5 yards, 0.1 TDs, 4.1 y/t, 5.3 y/rec
Pollard w/o
9.2 tch, 42.7 yards, 0.2 TDs, 4.6 y/t, 5.9 y/rec
The Dallas o line has been brutal this year. Just 2 lineman has played on over 66.1% of the total offensive snaps and 1 over 81%. The last time Tyron Smith and Zack Martin were on the field together was Week 4 and the starting group from the beginning of the season has...
...literally been on the field one time all year (Week 1). Starting center Joe Looney has played fewer than 60% of the snaps and add in that La'el Collins missing the entire season and Travis Fredrick retiring. Every team has injuries of course but this is huge.

This is not...
...the first time Zeke has averaged lower yard per attempt. In 2017 he averaged 4.1 yards per att and it happens to be the only other season in which Tyron Smith missed more than 21% of the teams snaps (played on 71%) and Zeke averaged the lowest yard per attempt and any...
...Dallas RB with more that 1 attempt.

Zeke 4.1
Morris 4.8
Smith 4.2

So the question is, is this a steep Zeke decline and Tony Pollard ascension or is it a whole lot of factors coupled together to make it look worse than it actually is?
