Had to do this yesterday, felt a little sheepish about it after, but the friends came through. Been re-reading the messages since.

Let's normalize this, especially among men. We need close friends. We need to be weak with each other. We need to support each other. The masculinity many of us were handed is broken, it breaks us, and it is going to break our children.

And I know twitter can be performative. Not trying to do that here. I just thought there's gotta be someone else who is in this place. And I would want them to reach out. We need each other. Anyway.
