Okay so. Im doing a thread on debunking the lie that is that Bayern are destroying domestic competition by grabbing each teams best players.

This started when Bayern acquired Gotze from Dortmund, followed by Lewandowski and Hummels.

Now, lets get into it. RTs appreciated.
A player taking the next step in his career (Gotze) is NOT destroying the competition. This was not said about Cantona moving from a competitive Leeds to Man United, this was not said for Van Persie (who was labeled a traitor, but United was not blamed in such a way).
Lewandowski agreed to join after respectfully running down his contract and joining for free, giving everything to Dortmund until he was gone. He could have joined any other club, and it wouldnt have been "destroying competition".
Hummels was a bayern academy player and started his career here. He moved for gametime, and he wanted to come back to his family and life in Munich. He also returned to Dortmund so i really dont see the point on commenting here.
Now lets get into the actual, current core.

starting from goalkeepers.

Neuer joined from Schalke, he was the worlds best young goalkeeper. It wasnt to destroy the competition that caused Bayern to buy him, it was the fear of missing out. And what a signing he was.
any club able to buy him would, and it would be madness to miss out on the opportunity. Same goes with Mbappe today, Haaland etc. Generational talent acquisition DOES NOT matter about the league or team. debate your nan.
Nubel was in a situation between Neuer and Lewa. Potentially generational and our long term Neuer replacement, also agreed to run down his contract and be respectful to his club.

Seems he made the right choice, considering Schalke's state. Anyone would do it + they had options.
In defense.

Boateng, Davies, Lucas, were all from clubs abroad.
Alaba homegrown.
Pavard from a relegated Stutgart.
Sule was acquired after a good season, but he was nowhere near a starter level (or so it seemed), despite his insane integration in the team.

moving to midfield.
Kimmich was bought from second division Leipzig. Not competition.
Muller homegrown.
Goretzka, same situation as Neuer and Lewa. He could have joined Liverpool. Instead chose to stay in his country. Ran down his contract respectfully.
In attack. Bayern agreed with Werder, and for profit Werder brought a useless Gnabry from Arsenal (or so people thought). Dont see how that move is relevant to any argument.
Coman, juventus.

We discussed Lewa.
We see the actual core contains Neuer, Goretzka and Lewa coming on from competitors, thus i already see the argument as foolish.

let us now consider other teams that do what Bayern is accused of.
Dortmund.

Burki - freiburg, Hitz - augsburg, Schulz-hoffenheim, Delaney-werder, Dahoud, Thorgan Hazard, and their almighty LOYAL CAPTAIN REUS ALL FROM GLADBACH.
Brandt, from Leverkusen.

all came from Dortmund competitors.
Juventus
who bought Chiesa, Bernardeschi, Pjanic, Buffon, Rugani, Cuadrado, Kulusevski, Demiral and Dybala all from teams on the rise.

They were some of their best players. The difference is our success.
Barcelona

Lenglet, Alba and mr expensive Griezman, all in their core XI, are from direct competitors. yet they receive no slander despite the equal amount of starters as bayern.
Man United

Shaw, AWB, Maguire. 3/4 of their defense from league teams.
Juan Mata, Matic, Alexis Sanchez, Lukaku. all domestic
It seems Bayern is slandered because of their success, nationally and internationally.

Especially now, where 8/11 core players had nothing to do with the competition of the league, i see the argument as least relevant as ever.

Happy to answer any questions.
btw PSG bought off the one player that could change Monaco forever, literally doing anything they could to achieve that.

Liverpool got VVD, Mane, Lovren, Henderson, Wijnaldum etc domestically. all players good enough to change a team.
