Final call to sign on for this giveaway! I'll reach out to winners this weekend. In the meantime, I thought I'd share a few more things that I cut out of/saw since the original thread. https://twitter.com/DanielVacaIII/status/1337461666536108037?s=20
/ In looking at this a year later, I was glad to see that I emphasized thinking about how evangelical ideologies and infrastructures have created a cultural formation with a foundation that can't be revised easily, and which lives on as media/markets continually transform.
/ About change: in @commentmag, @noahtoly reflected how "negating, rejecting, and even opposing" aspects of evangelical culture requires seeing "entanglements clearly, and Vaca’s book helps us to do that." https://www.cardus.ca/comment/article/you-are-what-you-read/
/ Again, don't hesitate to reach out if you/your students want to talk with me about the book or themes in parts of it, including religion + media/print culture, business/capitalism, commercialism/consumerism, gender/family, race/whiteness, and more. https://twitter.com/DanielVacaIII/status/1337467367044079617?s=20
/8 And here's a reminder on how to get the book. https://twitter.com/DanielVacaIII/status/1337467199284457475?s=20
