This is only half tongue-in-cheek. The only definition of "indigenous" that works with the way leftists use it is "whoever was there when white people showed up."

If we follow this to its conclusion, the British in India were simply the latest in a very long list of migrant conquerors, the Dravidians having no more right to be there than the Anglo-Saxons.

That, of course, isn't what they believe; leftists become fanatical irredentists when it comes to brown people. The conservative makes the mistake here of thinking that exposing the illogic and hypocrisy will be the left's undoing.

We must think more clearly about what this reveals: that no "debate" or "discussion" is happening here. What is happening, in fact, is an assertion of power. When a leftist denies that a native Briton is "indigenous," she is asserting the power to deny him rights to land.

You don't defeat a leftist in the debate hall; you defeat him by taking power. This is true in every respect; language for a leftist is simply an announcement of how power is going to be used, and against whom it will be used.

Let's look at something seemingly unrelated: the US election. Conservatives allege it is tainted by fraud, the results changed by chicanery. Now, how does the leftist respond to us? With debate? No, with power!

1. Videos alleging fraud are censored
2. Tweets alleging fraud are marked, and may get you banned
3. Leftist judges and authorities simply deny the evidence a hearing
4. Even when the fraud is proved (as in AZ), the judges simply...dismiss it..

There is no logic, only power.

Now, the left is alleging the British are not "indigenous" to their homeland. This is because they are about to flood the island (last decade was a warm-up) with Africans, Asians, and Indians, drowning out the native population until it's rendered a powerless minority.

There are no words that can stop this other than, "I'm in charge, you're not, and I'm ending this." As it turns out, taking power is MUCH harder than speaking words. The left has worked for decades at getting power; the right has utterly failed here.

The only thing that matters is power and who has it. Everything else is just a fig leaf.
