UK Joe Biden was probably one of the older ministers in the Blair years, and left parliament years ago. Would have given some stern interviews to broadsheets concerned about Corbyn but never left.
UK AOC had a shadow cabinet post under Corbyn, reappointed under Starmer but either quit or got sacked by now.
UK Kamala Harris was a rising star as Home Secretary under Brown but lost in the 2010 and 2015 leadership elections, now retired from politics.
UK Donald Trump was appointed to the House Of Lords as a trade envoy by Theresa May and is a regular on Question Time.
Pence was an affirmative action headbanger in the Cameron Cabinet. The American Chris Grayling.
Mitt Romney was a Major era minister, lost his seat in 1997, long retired from politics and now makes documentaries about the industrial revolution.
All I'm trying to get at here is just how old all these people are. Everyone currently big in American politics would have retired years ago in the UK. Even Kamala Harris would probably be gone by now.
