One thing I wish we talked more about in trans community is newly-out adult trans folks. We talk tons about how emotionally taxing it is for youth, but if you're 30 and you just came out? You might as well be 12 and all alone in the world.
I used to talk any how when I say "trans youth" I really mean youth as both in human age and "trans age." If you're 45 but you just came out last week, you're trans youth to me.
A lot of people give no consideration to the needs of trans adults who are newly out because coming out and being new to queerness is STILL considered a "youth" thing, despite the huge number of folks coming out well into adulthood.
