If you want to talk about reservation, why target the reservation in 10% of the seats? Why not talk about the other 90%? If we have 100 seats in total, 90 of them are booked for people who can afford to pay 60 lakh rupees. Isn't that quota for afluent people? https://twitter.com/__identist__/status/1339420769751744515
I never hear any discourse on this. Majority of the seats are open to anyone who can pay suitcase full of money. Isn't that a reservation? Shouldn't we dismantle that and increase the merit seats? Or is it easy to bully people who are already marginalized?
And what's up with this "Brahmin Chettri" victimisation. How are people so unaware. Can we just open the demographic stats and history books and see how lopsided our distribution of oppurtunities has been? Everyone likes to talk about privilage until it is their own turn.
Will we never talk how so many hawa students study in big medical colleges like KMC, NMC, Manipal, COMS just because they had money? Doesn't that count as quota? Why is this "deserving" card played only to people of marginalised classes?
