The basic premise of the Mandalorian makes no sense. Why does no one recognize the baby yoda species? Yoda was a high profile figure in the old government. Why does no one know what a Jedi is? They've been major public figures for thousands of years.

This is the same reason Harry Potter is unwatchable to me. I get the suspension of disbelief for the wizards. But I'm not on board that magic could be kept a secret. No kid went on Ellen to fly on a broom? No dictator had wizards they used to gain power? No one wrote a book?

Nobody went on Anderson Cooper and said, "watch me do a wizard thing"
