What happened to Atsumu is nothing different than what happened with Kageyama. He asked Hinata to prove himself as worthy to stand on the court, and once he did Kageyama set to him no problem, and then promised he would keep doing it.

tldr: donā€™t make Atsumu look like the saviour Hinata never needed lol.
beside, if we have to talk about first times, the first person who ever offered Hinata some tosses is actually Sugawara

you can ship hinata with a wall for all i care
i just think the fact hinata was able to convince what is considered the n1 setter is often overlooked, while imo makes the whole scene more beautiful
