Haller & Fornals
A thread

I would rather have a fully fit Antonio in our starting 11 than Haller. That being said, I'd rather a 2017 Lanzini ahead of Fornals, and thats just as likely to happen. Now people then make me out to be a Haller hater, as I'm sure @ExWHUemployee will
agree, and we get called hypocritical for celebrating a Haller goal as if we should somehow be dissapointed.

I can't tell you how wrong this is.

Any player that pulls on that shirt, puts in a shift and doesn't disrespect the club, I will love.

Regardless of my opinion...
I love Haller, guys clearly got talent, I love Fornals and his tenacious bulldog spirit, I love Yarmalenko and is technical wizardry and I love Mark Noble who despite his ageing legs will always be my hero.

I will celebrate every part they play in a Westham victory.

FACT
Now does that mean I'm not allowed an opinion on my proffered starting 11, no of course not.

I love the space that Antonio's runs create over Haller's hold up play.

I prefer in certain games the clinical passing of Lanzini over Fornals work rate when we play with two DM's.
There is a level of excitement when Benrahma gets the ball on the run that I don't get when I nervously watch Fornals get a chance from 5 yards out.

Its the same with Diop. Yes Balbuena has been phenomenal, but is he the future of our back line with Angela already 32? No...
So I was glad to see Diop return to the team. That does not mean that I won't celebrate like a nutter if he scores the winner vs Chelsea next week.

I will.... because he's a Hammer.
If I had my way, Noble would be 27, Lanzini would still be able to twist like he could and Antonio wouldn't have weak hamstrings. That doesn't mean I don't live them. Just like it doesn't mean I don't love Haller and Fornals, I just wish a guy with a 6'4 muscular frame was more
Dominant in attack and that Fornals was a little more consistent with his ability to hit the target.

Haller might find with game time and confidence, that he does start to bully the opposition more. Just as Fornals has time on his side, he is still young and time is his friend.
And then I will be screaming from the stands that he's better than Fabregas and that there is no way a newly fit Antonio should be displacing Haller.
Fornals/Benrahma/Lanzini
Haller/Antonio
Noble/Snodgrass
Diop/Balbuena

I love them one and all as long as they put on that shirt and play hard for the club, and I will celebrate every goal, assist, clearance whilst still having an opinion on what "my" best 11 is on the day.
We are Westham till we die. We have to be united in our mentality.

That being said
