What's interesting is that no one bats an eye to Neymar's 2nd leg performance vs Bayern. Neymar scored the decisive brace in the second leg, but all I hear is that Messi "single handedly" destroyed Bayern and carried Barca. Not to mention Neymar scored in the first leg as well.
Neymar topped his incredible campaign with a goal in the final. And I can easily say, he was the best player on the pitch in that game.

Now I'm aware Messi fans will think I'm trying to attack his heroics in this campaign. No. I'm very well aware Messi dropped 2 very good performances vs City even if he didn't score in R16, and a masterclass vs Bayern in the SF.
But this does not change the fact that Neymar was crucial and decisive in almost every KO game for Barca.
Scoring in both legs vs PSG, then scoring in both vs Bayern, and topping that off with a goal and MOTM performance in the final and not being given enough credit?

Imo it's absolutely fair to say that Neymar had just as good as a campaign as Messi, if not better.
He deserves more credit. Quite possibly Barca's best player in these run of matches.
