/ At the beginning of the year we reflected on the feedback we received from over 60 organisations in response to our progress report, which set out the key themes that had been raised and explored so far. https://www.collegecommission.co.uk/progress-report
/ Then, when the pandemic struck, we saw colleges doing incredible things for their communities.
They transform lives every day across the UK, and we’ve seen examples of colleges at their very best in response to the coronavirus. https://www.tes.com/news/colleges-are-not-buildings-they-are-communities

/ Reflecting on the transformative role of colleges through the pandemic and as we look ahead to 2030, in July we shared our vision for the #CollegeoftheFuture - a new bold and ambitious strategic remit for people, productivity and place.
/ Leading voices from across education contributed their thoughts on the #CollegeoftheFuture, from @MaryCurnockCook on collaboration with universities, to @RealGeoffBarton on a shared responsibility with schools and @SirBobKerslake on the civic agenda.

/ In October we published our recommendations to realise our vision across the four nations. Commissioners called for radical, long-term reforms and investment to address skills gaps and transform life chances for everyone.
