Small accounts matter too, they deserve engagements too. Some even got better contents than a lot of big accounts but y’all don’t rate them. Without minding the number of followers, learn to always engage good tweets when you see them.
Having a small account could be frustrating at times, most especially when you need to pass a message across but no audience. Also when you need to put out your ideas or businesses and no one’s engaging you. The fact that you know you got a voice but no one’s listening hurts
Although some people are just here to retweet for others, mind their business & search for violence, watching it from afar to prevent being dragged. That’s fine. While some really got good contents to put out with zero or low audience (If you in this category, this is for you.)
Firstly, Pick a niche. What is a niche? A niche is a specific topic you’ll write (or create other types of content) about on your page. The word “specific” should be noted. It could be sport, entertainment, law, health, sex, politics or whatsoever. Just pick one to focus on.
Why do you need a niche? Although there’s no Internet police that will come break down your door if you don’t stick to your niche but if you stick to one topic, you can guarantee that people who are interested in one of your posts have a high chance of being interested in...
all of your other contents, as well. it helps get active followers with a targeted audience.
Secondly, try tweet more on trending topics, it expands your audience beyond just your followers. Drop good takes on them, cause smart controversies too and watch your tweets do good numbers.
Also note, you don’t have to jump on every trend. It’s better to stay quiet than look stupidd. If you can’t relate or it’s okoto that’s coming to your head. Rest!!!!
Drop relatable contents, tweet from life experiences, drop question threads, people will definitely respond for sure. Be consistent too
Try post pictures more often, dope shots. They pull engagements too. Especially if you’re a female, we got a lot of pervs on Twitter & I’m one of them

Tag influencers to your posts for retweets, they’ll engage you if only you been active on their page. So you gotta engage them til they notice you, that way they’d happily return the favors. Send tweet links to their DMs too (don’t bombard them). If they see it, they might hit it
