The three best decisions I took in 2020 that made me the happiest I’ve ever been:

1) Investing in an online personal trainer.

Healthy body = healthy mind.
Never been this fit. Will continue with him in 2021.
2) Embraced my own personal form of stoicism as much as I can every day, which I call EPIC (below my definition). I look at it daily and reflect how the day went and I really see constant improvement on my emotions and how I influence those around me.
I can clearly see my family benefitting a lot from my personal philosophy and the time we spend together is now just so much better.
3) Started using @ynab to manage my finances in April. It really made an impact on understanding my priorities and forced me to set financial goals. If I increased 1/3 of my wealth while also being partially furloughed for 3 months is certainly also because of it.
4) for a bonus: I’m so glad I decided to quit my “comfortable” ad agency job and challenge myself trying out something different. Out of the comfort zone we grow: this new gig has clearly made me understand what I like, and what I’m more than happy doing for many hours a day.
It also helped me say NO to other, smaller, less engaging projects. Money isn’t everything.

I guess that’s a decision too.
Life is made of decisions. A thousand decisions every day.

With time, we get better at taking some. But take them. Decide. Decisions drive your life and there’s nothing better than a good life you’ve designed yourself.
