A viral video doing the rounds on Whatsapp is full of false claims about COVID-19. We took a look at some of them.
The video’s creator, Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, calls himself a doctor. despite having nothing more than an honorary Ph.D. in dietary science from a questionable university. Last week, he took it upon himself to spread all manner of lies about COVID-19.

Incidentally, Chowdhury has a book out that “exposes the scan [sic] behind the corona pandemic”. As the COVID-19 pandemic is neither a scan nor a scam, it might be best to avoid this book, wear a mask, and wash your hands.
