As Ethiopia PM said the Military intervention in Tigray was against TPLF leadership. Reporting on the humanitarian crisis in Tigray, the plight of innocent refugees who fled the war n atrocities committed against civilians doesn't amount " to sympathising with TPLF"
Reporters/media houses have a duty to tell all sides of the story Govt, TPLF, Civilians, aid agencies and Intnl donors. Their work wasnt made easy by the comms blackout and restrictions to travel to Tigray.
That didn't stop them from highlighting mass killings in places like Mai Kadra or the ethnic profiling that was taking place- an issue even the Ethiopia AG said had happened in some places.
So it really saddens to see the level of insults, intimidation and threats Intnl media and correspondents in Ethiopia are receiving daily for simply doing their job.
