This is why we are going to have a dark, Covid winter even though the vaccines are coming out. I am aware of a family of 4 who have not been isolating or wearing masks. They go out to dinner, shopping, to the gym, and to see friends. Even their two children have tried to 1/
convince them to wear masks and stop going out. Well, like two weeks ago, the father lost his sense of taste and smell, but that was it. He didn’t get tested. A week later, the mother lost her sense of taste and smell, but she said she was Covid negative...because she had two 2/
ANTIBODY tests. She was told they were not the right tests and she needed a nose swab. Finally, after much arguing, she went and got the correct test and the results came back today and she is positive. It was her son’s birthday over the weekend, and even though mom and dad 3/
had well known Covid symptoms, they had a birthday party where aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends attended mask-less. Also, the daughter was sent to some sort of youth meeting in Orlando, where she has been in contact with a large group. There was also a teacher 4/
that was coming to the home to tutor the children during this period. The mother went to the gym while infected. The father attended numerous, packed, business Christmas parties while infected. They were lucky. They didn’t get sick, but just try to calculate the number of 5/
people that possibly got infected by this one family and how many people those people are going to infect. Now, here’s the real kicker...this family plans on going to Universal Studios this weekend because they are not sick!! How many deaths will be the result of one small 6/
family’s recklessness. But, hey, we’re in Florida and the governor says everything should be open and won’t issue a mask mandate. 7/
Universal is having limited capacity attendance, which translates to around 11,000 people. Calculate that spread rate! I really don’t get why people are going to theme parks, but I don’t recommend Universal Studios Orlando this weekend! #COVID19 #COVIDIOTS #UniversalStudios
